A modern and secure website for a leading UK law firm
TLT is a forward-thinking UK law firm known for combining legal expertise with a strong focus on innovation and client experience. The firm delivers practical, future-ready solutions across diverse sectors including financial services, real estate and digital.
As part of this approach, TLT was seeking to evolve and strengthen its digital presence with a platform that would better support its internal teams – reducing reliance on technical expertise, streamlining content updates and giving marketing greater agility to respond quickly to campaigns and client needs.
TLT’s existing legacy Sitecore website was proving difficult to manage and maintain, exposing the firm to security vulnerabilities and requiring the marketing team to have technical expertise for even the simplest content updates. Their digital ecosystem was fragmented across multiple platforms, creating complexity and limiting creative flexibility. With outdated technology constraining performance and no standard API exports available, even extracting content posed a significant hurdle. At the same time, TLT needed to safeguard their hard‑earned SEO rankings during migration. They required a modern, secure, and marketing-friendly solution that would future‑proof their digital presence.
To address these challenges, we delivered a full migration to Webflow Enterprise, combining technical rigour with a highly collaborative approach. Beginning with a comprehensive discovery phase, we gathered feedback from stakeholders, undertook a detailed website audit, and provided content quality assessments to identify risks and ensure the new site would meet the needs of diverse teams.
Early content mapping helped us anticipate complex migration elements and streamline development. From a UX perspective, we introduced an improved sitemap, greyscale wireframes, accessible high‑fidelity designs, and a library of 30 reusable components to give TLT’s marketing team long‑term flexibility.
Our migration strategy followed a staged, test‑and‑scale model – moving 20 items, then 40, then 100 – to validate data completeness before committing to the full dataset. Automated workflows using Airtable and Whalesync accelerated CMS updates, while a rigorous redirect plan preserved SEO equity. Technical enhancements included GSAP animations, SSO, responsive breakpoints, analytics integration, and cookie compliance.
The result? Despite the project’s scale, we delivered on time and on budget, successfully migrating 500 static pages and 15,000 CMS items while retiring Sitecore entirely. TLT’s marketing team is now fully self‑sufficient, their site delivers three-second page loads across devices, and all SEO rankings were maintained giving them a modern, secure, and scalable platform for the future.
The team’s expertise and collaborative approach made this complex migration feel seamless. We’re now empowered to manage our website independently while benefiting from a modern, secure platform that enhances our digital marketing capabilities.
